The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
4,329 films were submitted to the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. This blog had 27,000 views in 2012. If each view were a film, this blog would power 6 Film Festivals

…or at least express your enthusiasm for this mystical country choosing Donna Karan’s newest Urban Zen furniture collection. It’s all about modern and simple manifestation of the Asian soul.
The whole collection is handmade in Bali and looks so comfy and inviting.
I really like the relaxed elegance of each furniture piece and the way the collection is unpretentious…
Donna remembered also to invite design to the garden and patio:
I really hoped to post this article a little sooner but a really busy week at work and now the cold that’s held me down in my bed since Friday afternoon hasn’t really given me room for creative thinking ;o)
I’m still in my bed, with a bad cough. I sound as a young teenage boy who’s just undergoing voice change… but I definitely feel well enough to get ready for the next weekend’s design exhibition: Code11 in Copenhagen.
I wonder which stands and companies you’d add to your ‘my programme’ for the expo.
As a person finding delight in practical and functional solutions I’ll certainly pay close attention to ‘Small rooms‘ stand. Their mirror and ironing board in one is just ingenious. Good and and really practical design of two- or three-in-one’s will always be warm welcomed by me.
Need to refresh your memory about Code10? Read her and her.
See you in Bella Center next weekend (I’ll probably be there on early afternoon on Sunday).

…maybe you can help me figure out where this unusual bookshelf comes from?
It’s really cool and very direct in its expression which sometimes is much better than a dozen of metaphors😉

Here’s what happens when you ask well known designers and other creative souls to come with new expresions for an old classic.
The pink swan project will soon (October ’11) be auctioned for the benefit of those in need.
I love my own orange swan and I hope that many people will fall for the beauty of this timeless Arne Jacobsen’s chair with one of the many new faces.

What a floor! What a view!
I love the simplicity of this loft in London, emphasized with the grandness of the floor-to-ceiling windows and the business heart of the City that beats proudly on the horizon.
I really like the slightly dusted colour of the floor.

…I see many
Don’t you think this is a really cool way of renewing such an ancient furniture form as the chair is?
As Kristian Lindhardt, designer behind the Sepii chair explains, the name of the chair comes from the cuttlefish order Sepiidae, as a reference to the way the chair dances around on the floor when seated, having only three legs touching ground at the same time.
